Can-Can Basics with Vaudie Va Boom

“Yes you Can-Can!” A two hour workshop by Vaudie Va-Boom, the director of the Can-Cannibals Dance Troupe. Includes warm-up and stretch techniques, all the basic can-can kicks, skirt manipulation, learning a bit of original choreography by the Can-Cannibals, and a whole group chorus line, plus some history of the dance! We will be jumping, jiggling and kicking so please wear something SUPPORTIVE that you can move in. Wear comfortable shoes, or character shoes. Bring a long skirt, circle skirt, or petticoat if you have one. There will be some skirts available for everyone to practice with!
