Pleasure in Your Pauses with Emogen Quest

Having trouble finding your inner idiot? Struggling to be a braver performer? Le Jeu (the French word for “play”) reminds you of the joy of performing for an audience; when a performer has fun during their performance and can share that pleasure with the audience, the audience will enjoy that performance even more! This workshop is designed to get you unstuck, activate your imagination, and lose your inhibitions. You will be taught how to attune yourself to the moment, re-discover play, recognize and avoid pushing, and let go! Find your most open, sensitive, vulnerable, human and ridiculous qualities!

This workshop uses different games and exercises specially designed to help actors to discover their inner rhythm and timing, fixed point, sensitivity, lightness, and a good complicite within themselves, their fellow actors and the audience. For performers and non-performers of all levels, ages, and abilities.
