The French Can-Can is considered by some to be the origins of burlesque. The Can-Can dancers of Montemartre would traditionally perform the high energy-
high kicking synchronized dance without underwear. The Can-Can has inspiredartists such as Toulouse-Lautrec as well as numerous films, and stage productions,(Moulin Rouge). Come learn the basic steps, how to keep step with music, other dancers, and above all how to incorporate the skirt flashes. Harvest Moon is an award winning Can-Can dancer, and has been performing
this dance for over a decade. She will show you how to prepare and condition for the kicks, the choreography and how to work that skirt. Harvest will provide music.
Advised to bring your own skirt.
