Devilicia: National Treasure of Red Hots Burlesque

We’re the type of gals that like a little burlesque that goes bump (and grind) in the night, and we get just that with Massachusetts’ Devilicia. This scream queen is known as one of the founding members of Black Cat Burlesque, notorious as the “bad seeds of Boston burlesque.” Combining camp and horror on the burlesque stage since 2003 with Black Cat Burlesque, Devilicia is a former mortician turned go go gal and masked wrestler. Black Cat Burlesque has performed at the NYC Burlesque Festival, and have competed in the Burlesque Hall of Fame. Last year, Devilicia was one of the celebrity judges for the Alternatease Burlesque Festival, an attribute that this thriller and chiller has had the pulse of for ages. If it’s monsters, demons, lasers, or Star Wars, it’s probably found its way into Devilicia’s art. Her twisted work is the stuff that nightmares are made of, and we always look forward to sweet, crazy dreams when we get to see her.
