Ada Lavendar features June 2013

Dance and movement have always been constant hobbies, and blissful forms of release for ADA LAVENDER. The deets: In addition to practicing ballet, tap, jazz and other dance forms growing up, she’s trained samba throughout the United States and Brazil, including in Salvador, Itacaré, and Ilhéus. She has had burlesque training with both Michelle L’Amour at Studio L’Amour, and Kellita of Hot Pink Feathers. She has performed capoeira and samba through Cordão De Ouro Chicago and Gingarte Capoeira, and group samba, burlesque and cabaret dances as an apprentice company member of Hot Pink Feathers. Additionally, she has choreographed and performed burlesque solos for Hubba Hubba Revue, Red Hots Burlesque, Vaudezilla’s Broadzilla (in Chicago), and at other Hot Pink Feathers productions such as Frisky! and Burlesque ‘n’ Brass.
